How we verify jobs
Fake job adverts cost people money and hope. That's why every job on JobsToGrab is checked by a member of our team before it goes live.
What we check before a job goes live
- The employer is real. We confirm the organisation exists, through its official website, registration or verified social media.
- The vacancy is genuine. We find the advert on the employer's own careers page, official channels or a trusted source, and link to it as the "Original advert" where we can.
- Applying is free. We reject any job that asks candidates to pay for applications, interviews, training, medicals, uniforms or placement.
- The Apply link goes to the employer. Applications go to the employer's own website or email address, not to middlemen.
- The details are clear. The role, location, deadline and requirements are complete and make sense.
After a job goes live
- Jobs disappear from listings automatically after their deadline.
- If you report a job, we review it and take it down if it isn't genuine.
What we can't promise
We check carefully, but no check is perfect, and we don't see what happens after you apply. If anyone, even for a job listed here, asks you for money or for your M-Pesa PIN or passwords, stop and report it to us.
