How to complete the EACC self-declaration form
Download the form from the EACC website, fill it in twice, have it signed before a Commissioner for Oaths, and hand it in with copies of your documents.
For public jobs, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) checks candidates' integrity. You apply using a self-declaration form.
Steps
- Download the self-declaration form from the EACC website.
- Fill it in twice (two copies).
- Sign it in front of a Commissioner for Oaths or a Magistrate, who will witness your signature.
- Attach copies of your National ID or passport, your KRA PIN certificate, and your academic certificates.
- Hand it in at the EACC head office (Integrity Centre, Nairobi), an EACC regional office, or a Huduma Centre.
Good to know
- The EACC does not give you a certificate. It sends its report on shortlisted candidates directly to the employer, so keep your stamped copy as proof you applied.
- Applying to the EACC is free. The Commissioner for Oaths charges a small fee for witnessing.
Processes and fees change from time to time. Always follow the instructions on the official website, and never pay anyone who offers to "speed up" a clearance for you.
